Lunar Mini Fest at ANYTHING JB — A Weekend for the Johor Bahru Streetwear Scene
From 30th, 31st January to 1st February 2026, ANYTHING JB Ibrahim hosted a community gathering called Lunar Mini Fest.
For three days, the space brought together friends, creatives and independent vendors from the Johor Bahru streetwear and creative scene to hang out, share their work and celebrate the Lunar season together.
The idea was simple — create a space where people could drop by, explore different things, meet new people and enjoy the moment.
Across the three daytime sessions, around 600–800 people came through the mini fest, making it a lively gathering for the JB streetwear community.
Daytime Mini Fest Activities
During the day, the store turned into a small creative marketplace with different pop-ups and activities happening inside the space.
The activities included:
-
ANYTHING JB “BULLET TIME” collection launch
-
Vintage clothing pop-up by Redchili
-
Tattoo pop-up by Chairchincher
-
Filmgazing second-hand film camera pop-up
-
Coffee and sandos by Bluer House
Visitors could browse vintage pieces, check out film cameras, grab coffee, and connect with different creatives from around Johor Bahru.
At the same time, guests could also customize their own T-shirts with heat-pressed words, turning each piece into something personal.
For many people, the space felt less like a store and more like a creative hangout spot within the Johor Bahru streetwear scene.
Saturday Night DJ Block Party
On Saturday night, the event shifted into a block party style music event, bringing together local artists and music from the Johor scene.
Performing that night were:
-
S.A.C
-
HOW1E
-
SONG NING
-
MOONGEKK
-
JAYDEN T
-
KAMPUNG BOYZ
With DJ JOYBOY on the decks.
The entry for the event was run on a “Pay As You Wish” system, allowing people to support the night however they wanted while keeping the event open to everyone.
The block party gathered more than 120 people, filling the space with music, conversations and great energy.
A Small Moment for the JB Creative Community
The ANYTHING JB Lunar Mini Fest was never meant to be a huge festival. It was simply a gathering for people who enjoy streetwear, music, art and independent culture in Johor Bahru.
Moments like this show how the Johor Bahru streetwear scene continues to grow, with more creatives, artists and independent brands coming together to build something for the city.
For everyone who came through, it definitely felt like a special little moment for the JB community.
