You know, I’ve been thinking about how pain and love just, trade places.
Like, all this love used to be pain. And all this pain used to be love.
I guess that’s how it goes. We lose people, we lose things, and somehow it still teaches us how to love again, even when it hurts to. It’s strange, right? Because everything feels so heavy while it’s happening, but later, it’s just memory.
And then there’s the other side, we give too much. We try to be soft, we try to do good, hoping it means something. But no one really cares. Not in the way we think they do. Still, I think the reason we’re capable of pain is because we’re still capable of love.
They come from the same place.
It takes both, you know? To break and to love. To hurt and to feel.
That’s what makes us real.
